The opening bout of the evening saw Mario Vanjir preaching to the crowd why they should become sugar free. Apparently Sam Udell only eats food with nutrasweet because he captured the pinfall after a modified version of the “Rough Rider”

Massive Mike vs. Pretty Jimmy Dream
Massive Mike started this match off by making fun of Jimmy Dream’s ring attire saying that “he needed to give his mommy’s stockings back” And Massive Mike did dominate early but underestimated the long time Maryland star from F.I.G.H.T.’s sister promotion ACW.
Mike’s power moves and nearly finished off Dream with a famouser which the count was broken with a foot on the ropes. Dream survived and hit a reverse stunner off the middle rope to take the victory.

Pat Anthony vs. Diaz
High Flyers Showcase Rules
A long time rivalry all across Maryland culminated in the first round of the F.I.G.H.T. Championship tournament. #Pat Anthony brought everything he had and came so close to a win. Anthony pulled out everything but in doing so may have ran out of gas.
The “Mini Boss” Diaz weathered the storm and caught Anthony in a front face lock choke out to advance to the 2nd round.
Tanner Reynolds vs. The Scout Jake Manning
The 10:00 minute countdown started as “High Flyer” rules were in effect. This was not necessarily the type of bout for either Manning or The Scout.
However Tanner Reynolds had a wild card. There was a huge masked man in his corner and he made his presence known. Despite The Scout’s best efforts the mysterious masked man drove Manning into the ring post outside making him easy prey for Reynolds who took the fall with 1:41 left on the clock.

Michael’s Amaydo vs Brown Sugar Jones
Lars was the difference here as the Michael's’ Amaydo takes thefall with a flying bulldog off the top rope.

Brutal Bob Evans vs. Wildman Robbie Page.
Bob Evans sent everyone who had the intelligence to attend his seminar in the afternoon before F.I.G.H.T. started. Bob freely admitted he is a better teacher than wrestler in 2016. He sold hmself short. Brutal Bob Evans was in this game from the start to the finish.
Robbie Page would not be denied though and would not quit though. After a series of “brutal” kicks The Wildman was able to get a huge victory of a veteran who showed him a thing or two.

Tag Team Match
Riot City’s Most Wanted: Sicend and Matt Wylde def. The Left Coast Gorillas
The WildCardz did not show up so Riot City has on up on the former tag team champions. A huge surprise but one Riot City will be talking about for a long time.
Tanner Reynolds def. The “Mini Boss” Diaz by count out
The “Mini Boss” Diaz is the longest reigning champion in wrestling. However his ACW Light Heavyweight Championship was not on the line this evening. This was a Technical Division match. Despite his best efforts Diaz fell victim to the 3 count out rule and the mysterious masked man Tanner Reynolds had running interference for him.

Robbie Page vs. Michael’s Amaydo
The Wildman had his hands full in this bout. The match started with an exchange of ankle lock submission attempts. Page injured his knee landing improperly but stood his ground. Amaydo hooked a sleeper on but Page was able to escape and put his own rear naked choke to get the victory.

Wildman Robbie Page vs. Tanner Reynolds
Despite Robbie Page’s knee injury the championship match started immediately after his match. In the Grapplers rules match Reynolds took advantage of Robbie Page’s knee injury to score a controversial KO to become the new F.I.G.H.T. Heavyweight Champion.
